Ow.

I’m sick again.  Diverticulitis again.  It hurts a lot, and it is so frustrating.  I went to see the gastroenterologist today.  He gave me some antibiotics and told me if I keep having problems I might have to have surgery.  I told him my dad got septic shock from a leaky staple after having surgery for diverticulitis.

I’m feeling sorry for myself.  I was supposed to cook for the optimist on Saturday, and now I have to eat a low residue diet through the weekend.  And I have my first roller derby assessment on Sunday!  How am I supposed to skate 25 laps in 5 minutes when I can’t eat anything?

This sucks.
